ALEXIS CASTORINA is the Founder of Cymatic Leadership and an Identity & Communication Strategist whose work sits at the intersection of brand, behavioral psychology, and human-centered leadership. Alexis began her career as a communications and marketing professional, developing an early obsession with how language shapes perception, behavior, and belief. That obsession led her to study journalism and public relations at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she built a foundation in storytelling, media relations, and strategic messaging. She went on to earn an MBA in Marketing from Northcentral University, sharpening her ability to translate human insight and storytelling into measurable business strategy.

Her corporate ascent took her into some of the most high-stakes communications environments in financial services. As a senior marketing and communications leader at Early Warning Services — the bank-owned financial technology company behind Zelle® — Alexis rose to Head of Consumer Marketing & Education, where she led national consumer education, financial literacy, and cybersecurity campaigns reaching tens of millions of Americans.

She played a central role in the launch and brand-building of Zelle®, one of the largest digital payments platforms in the United States, and served as a media spokesperson and participated in advocacy briefings for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee and U.S. House Financial Services Committee on payments safety and consumer protection.

Her campaigns earned recognition across the marketing and financial services industries, including Gold Award honors from the Financial Communications Society, recognition from the Content Marketing Institute, and multiple wins from the Arizona Innovation Marketing Association and Tearsheet. Her co-designed financial literacy program, Money Moves: Modern Banking & Identity Protection — developed in partnership with EVERFI and deployed in more than 5,000 schools — reached over 250,000 students and generated nearly 320,000 hours of learning.

In 2022, Alexis was at the top of her corporate career — winning awards, leading high-profile campaigns, and operating as a recognized marketing powerhouse. Then a series of unexpected events fractured her trajectory and, with it, her sense of self. Rather than rebuilding the same identity, she got curious. She invested in deep personal development and earned Master Practitioner certifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Mental Emotional Release® (MER), and Hypnotherapy through the Association for Integrative Psychology.

She also found an unexpected catalyst for transformation in an unlikely place: stand-up comedy. That experience crystallized a core belief that would shape everything she built next — that transformation does not have to feel heavy to be real, and that humor, storytelling, and nervous system safety can accelerate change in ways most leadership programs never reach.

That turning point led directly to the founding of Cymatic Leadership in October 2022 — a boutique identity and communication transformation consultancy built for the modern era of work.
