Roaring Laughs Women in Comedy to Bring Comedy and Community Together for Women's History Month
PHOENIX, March 10, 2025 – ComCen Productions and Let It Roll & Bowl Entertainment will host Roaring Laughs, Women in Comedy, a comedy event featuring an all-female lineup, on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lenora’s Comedy Club, located inside of Let It Roll & Bowl Entertainment. The event will highlight women in comedy while raising awareness and support for Survivors Rise, a Phoenix-based nonprofit supporting survivors of sexual assault.
The evening will include stand-up performances, networking opportunities, and a keynote by comedian and entrepreneur Alexis Castorina titled "Conscious Comedy: Humor as a Tool for Healing, Transformation, and Growing Your Business." Bestselling author and podcast host Alessia Citro will also be present for a book signing of her work, Higher Self Habits: The Scientific, Strategic, and Spiritual Framework to Get Out of Your Own Way—For Good.
“This event is about more than just laughter,” said Kayla Howard, founder of ComCen Productions. “It’s about fostering community, supporting survivors, and creating a space where people can connect through shared experiences.”
The comedy lineup includes headliner Phyllis Voren, feature act Jing Yu, and host Keeley Wolf, alongside performers Denise Tomlin, Jenn Navarro, Audi Larriva, and Alexis Castorina. The event will take place at Lenora’s Comedy Club, named after owner Stacy Anderson’s late mother, located inside of Let It Roll & Bowl Entertainment, located at 8925 N. 12th St., Phoenix, AZ 85020.
The event will support awareness of Survivors Rise, a nonprofit dedicated to providing peer-led programs for survivors of sexual assault.
“Community support is vital to our mission. Events like this help us raise awareness and provide resources to those in need,” said Kate Chisholm, founder and executive director of Survivors Rise.
The event is free and open to the public (ages 21+), with attendees encouraged to secure tickets in advance. Ticket holders will be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card to Let It Roll & Bowl Entertainment. Must be present to win.
